About The Artist

Matt Nahoum is textural abstract artist, living in Brooklyn, New York. Matt believes that his inspiration comes from a firm belief that art and creativity are multidimensional phenomena to be experienced through sight, sound and touch.

As an Art Therapist, Matt has worked with displaced, homeless youth in crisis at Covenant House’s mental health unit, and is currently working with unstably housed adults living with HIV and AIDS. Matt’s unique understanding of creativity and the human condition allows him an opportunity to reach his patients and clients in a safe, holding and expressive space.
